Thirft Collections

I've been reading thrifting blogs recently - to see all the great things people have found. By reading the blogs, I started to see what all the different writers collect. Then I went thrifting today and started seeing tons of things they would love to buy.

** One lady collects red & white toile dishes. Today I saw a set of large plates, small plates and some cups.

** Another lady was looking for two paintings called Gratitude & Grace. In one painting a man is praying and in another a woman is praying. Today I saw the man praying.

** Another woman collects nativity scenes. I saw 3 sets today.

I also see tons of things I think me friends or family would like - but it the back of my head I always hear, "Don't buy me a bunch of junk." So I really try to be selective in choosing items to buy people. If I wasn't selective, I'd bring Lara tons of macrame owls and Clayton would get every Disney item ever donated to Goodwill.

haha, trying to limit your junk buying is a good idea! you are becoming more and more like adam's mom every second. she LOVES thrift stores and every time we see her she gives us some crap we don't want and then we have to figure out where we'll put it in our tiny apartment. she has gotten us something useful/cool only about 10% of the time. but, it's the thought that counts, right?
